STONER ROCK / FUZZ ROCK

From Örebro, Sweden, Truckfighters channel desert rock through thick layers of fuzz and groove. Their sound is steeped in stoner rock, fuzz pedals pushed to the limit, and playful swagger reminiscent of Kyuss yet distinctly Scandinavian. The 2016 album V (Fuzzorama Records) captured their love of wide-open riffs, hypnotic grooves, and psychedelic melodies stretching like sun-drenched highways — and after nearly a decade, the band have confirmed a new full-length album, expected in spring 2026, promising a fresh surge of fuzz-driven exploration.

Members maintain deep ties to Sweden’s heavy underground, including Witchcraft, Lowrider, and Dozer. Known affectionately as “fuzz monsters,” they combine humour and high spirits with ferocious riffs. Their playfulness — once faking a breakup in 2018 — underscores a commitment to spontaneity, making heaviness feel celebratory rather than oppressive. This restlessness now fuels both studio and stage, ensuring every riff carries their signature vitality and momentum.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Truckfighters are unstoppable in motion. Their shows are chaotic, ecstatic, and enveloping, transforming venues into desert arenas where groove and fuzz reign. With new material on the horizon, audiences can expect fresh riffs woven seamlessly with classic favourites, each set a full-throttle celebration of sound, rhythm, and joy, drawing the crowd into a hypnotic, shared experience.
