REVEAL PARTY
Reveal Party is the project of Copenhagen‑based songwriter Emily Holm Nyhuus – a voice that turns confession into clarity. Across two albums and early EPs, the band have used vulnerable storytelling as a way to navigate identity, intimacy, and renewal. Their songs trace small moments with the precision of memories: a shift in light, a single repeated phrase, the weight of saying too much or not enough. What emerges is a sound that feels disarmingly open – soft in tone but unflinching in honesty.
Musically, Reveal Party move between fragile dream‑pop textures and the immediacy of indie rock. Guitars shimmer and tremble, basslines hum like residual thoughts, and vocals sit close to the microphone, almost spoken at times. Each arrangement seems built to hold emotion at arm’s length, only to let it spill over. The music never hides – even at its most melodic, there’s a grain of distortion or doubt that keeps it grounded. It is expressive without spectacle, writing itself out of both heartbreak and release, always chasing the kind of truth that feels lived rather than staged.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Live, Reveal Party lean into that intimacy. Expect something quietly electrifying – gentle, raw, and direct, where the space between silence and melody carries the most weight.
