Lueenas isan experimental string duo (violin and double bass) focusing on ambient musicmaking with electronic effects and amplifiers, coming out of classicalminimalism and slow, improvised rock and jazz music. Their debut album, Lueenas(2022), is their latest release.
Lueenascreate violent and beautiful soundscapes, almost terrifying in their panoramicgrandeur. The soundtrack for a space journey offering the sky as clear ascrystal, dangerous asteroid belts, and moments of intense presence. As if thesounds not only aim at the nauseating infinity but find meaning in thescratches on the surface and vitality in the imperfect and unpredictable.
