POST-METAL, DOOM, BLACKENED ATMOSPHERIC, CINEMATIC

Shaped in the Austrian Alps near Innsbruck, Ellereve is the solo project of vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Elisa Giulia Teschner. Drawing from post-metal, doom, and blackened atmospheres, she crafts music where emotional clarity meets cinematic weight. Her debut album Reminiscence (2023, Eisenwald Records) introduced a post-apocalyptic world of introspective gloom and soulful tension, establishing a sound both intimate and immense. With Umbra (2025, Eisenwald Records), she shifts into heavier terrain, blending towering surges, darkly cinematic passages, and moments of fragile beauty. Its first single features guest vocals from Michael J. J. Kogler (Harakiri for the Sky, Karg), amplifying the album’s emotional intensity and marking a bold step in her evolution.

What sets Ellereve apart is her ability to bind vulnerability to force, allowing each composition to move fluidly between shadow, resonance, and light. Her work balances weight and delicacy, using distortion, atmosphere, and a steady, unguarded vocal presence to shape landscapes that feel both personal and expansive. Even at its most forceful, the music maintains a quiet core, guided by an instinct for tension that never slips into excess.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Live, Ellereve moves with deliberate intensity. Sets often begin in hushed, understated tones before expanding into a dense, luminous current where guitars, low-end textures, and percussion gather around the voice. The result is immersive and haunting – a slow-rising emotional gravity that lingers long after the final chord fades.
