DAUFØDT
NorwegianDaufødt is a band with one foot planted in punk and another in experimental andnoisy music. Daufødt are already a well-established part of the Norwegian punk-rockscene. They received a Norwegian grammy award for their first album 1000Island (2020) and high acclaim for the follow-up Aromatherapy(2022). In 2024 they released their latest album, Glitter.
Daufødt, Norwegianfor stillborn, is the bodily reaction to everything that is wrong in thisworld. The stillborn is a metaphor for life wanting to grow, but not being ableto see how, and realizing that nobody really cares. A Daufødt show is a violentrelease of energy, a physical transgression. It’s like tearing down thoseconstructions that bar you from defining new trajectories in life, bar you fromnurturing ideas that hold the future. Tear them down!
