Dame Area

Hailing from Barcelona, Dame Area plays minimalistic industrial, electronic music that has a lot in common with experimental post-punk. Being a productive band, they have latest issued the album Toda la verdad sobre Dame Area (2024), meaning “all the truth about Dame Area”, a follow up on the previous album, which were about all the lies, Toda la mentira sobre Dame Area (2022).

This is a dance-floor oriented industrial affair with fat kicks, noisy synths, and odd and metallic percussion, but most importantly a lot of attitude and flavor with which they claim the present at a time where everything seems to be drowning in darkness. Dame Area is the radical live discotheque band you don’t want to miss, and you will never know if they tell you the truth or not.
