GETTING THERE

We recommend using public transportation. The Copenhagen Metro is running 24-7 and the nearest stop is ‘ENGHAVE PLADS’ a short walk from VEGA & BASEMENT.

From the Central Station (Hovedbanegården) bus  23 runs towards Valby St. and stops at Enghave Plads near VEGA & BASEMENT.

WHEN YOU ARRIVE

Upon arrival, your ticket will be scanned at Lille VEGA, where you’ll receive your wristband. Your wristband grants access to all A Colossal Weekend concerts at VEGA and Basement on the day specified on your wristband – and of course, for all days if you have a full festival pass.

 Check-in is located at Enghavevej 40, 1674, Copenhagen V – Lille VEGA’s entrance.

PARKING

Close to VEGA at the end of Rejsbygade, you’ll find a public car park with 77 parking spaces. The rules for parking are the same as on the side streets around VEGA, which belong to the blue parking zone, licence zone Enghaveparken.

FOOD & DRINKS

VEGA’s and Basement’s bars offer a wide range of drinks with and without alcohol. In VEGA’s bars, there’s also a small selection of snacks, as well as the option to purchase earplugs. Unfortunately, there are no food stalls at the festival, but in VEGA’s vicinity, there’s a wide range of restaurants and takeaway places in all price ranges, especially the area around Enghave Plads (about 50 meters away) offers a wide range of good places with both vegetarian and vegan options. A quick bite between concerts can therefore be included in your planning.

ACOMMODATION

Close to the venues you will find plenty of hotels and hostels. Also public transport around Copenhagen is very efficient so where ever you choose to stay you will have smooth access.

MERCHANDISE

Next to Lille VEGA, you’ll find the merchandise area where all bands sell their merchandise. The merchandise area is open at the following times:

Thursday: 6:30 PM – 12:30 AM

Friday: 6:30 PM – 1:00 AM

Saturday: 6:00 PM – 1:00 AM

Official A COLOSSAL WEEKEND merchandise is available in the cloakroom in Lille VEGA. If you’ve purchased official A Colossal Weekend merch, it will be distributed when you receive your wristband.

 CLOAKROOM

There’s a mandatory cloakroom in VEGA, where you’ll be asked to leave your outerwear and bags. You can retrieve and deposit your items continuously if you wish. The cloakroom costs 30 DKK. The cloakroom is open throughout the festival’s opening hours:

Thursday: 5:30 PM – 1:00 AM

Friday: 5:00 PM – 1:30 AM

Saturday: 4:00 PM – 1:30 AM

 The festival stages close gradually after the concerts end, and the cloakroom closes after the last concert – but no later than the times indicated above.

 IMMERSIVE CONCERTS

On Friday and Saturday in Ideal Bar, A Colossal Weekend presents concerts with a revolutionary sound experience with their immersive sound system. With Dolby Atmos technology and 18 speakers, the system creates an immersive concert experience where sound envelops listeners from all sides. Artists can explore various audio formats, providing a unique and intense music experience. It’s not just a concert – it’s a deep sonic journey that leaves the audience amazed and mesmerized.

 ARTISTS IN RESIDENCE

Experience A Colossal Weekend’s alternative artistic expression through carefully selected acts that break conventions. This year’s three artists in Residence – Afsky, Halvcirkel, and KATLA – offer unique performances ranging from classical music to in-depth black metal and reflections on time and eternity. A rare opportunity to experience the festival in a completely new way.

VEGA’s RECORD FAIR

As part of A Colossal Weekend, VEGA hosts a record fair in Store VEGA’s foyer on Saturday, May 18th. At the fair, you can find new and old vinyl at a variety of stands. The record fair is free and open from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Entrance is through Store VEGA from Rejsbygade.

VEGA LAB

VEGA LAB is an experimental exhibition space for live performances that works with immersive experiences. The room’s 360-degree setup in both sound and image allows the audience to move around and have an active, self-chosen experience depending on where they move. VEGA LAB provides the audience with access to new experiences and musicians with access to technology and the opportunity to experiment and explore new ways of composing.
