Upon arrival 

When you arrive, you must have your ticket scanned at Lille VEGA. If you have a ticket for the entire festival, this is also where you get your wristband. If you have a one-day ticket, you will get a stamp. Wristband and stamp give you access to Lille VEGA, Ideal Bar and Basement.

 The address is Enghavevej 40, 1674, Copenhagen V.

 To the right of Lille VEGA’s entrance, you will find the entrance to Ideal Bar. To the left of Lille VEGA’s entrance, you will find the entrance to Basement, where there is also an outdoor hangout area with a bar.

 All venues are located so that you can get back and forth between them in a few minutes.

 Wardrobe is mandatory at VEGA,  so you will be asked to hand in outerwear and bags in the here. You can pick up and drop off your things continuously if you wish. Wardrobe costs DKK 30. The wardrobe/cloakroom closes at 00.30 every day, so remember to collect your things before you attend the last concert at Basement, where there is no mandatory wardrobe.

Schedule and opening hours

On Thursday you can get your bracelet or stamp from 17.00 and the first concerts are at 18.00On Friday, you can get your stamp from 16.00 and the first concert is at 4:40 p.m

On Saturday you can get your stamp from 15.00 and the first concert is at 15.40

Merchandise
You will find a dedicated merch area just next to the Lille VEGA stage. The merch area opening hours are as follows

Thursday: 18.30 – 00.30
Friday: 18.30 – 0030 

Saturday: 18.00 – 00.00

Unfortunately we don’t have any official A Colossal Weekend merchandise, but you can get this year’s official poster for 150 DKK at the Lille VEGA wardrobe.

Visit VEGA Lab during A Colossal Weekend

VEGA LAB is an experimental exhibition space for the live scene that works with immersive experiences. The venue’s 360-degree set-up, both in sound and image, means that the audience can move around the room and have an active, self-selected experience depending on where they go. With the project VEGA LAB, the venue VEGA examines the boundaries between tech, sound and video formats in the search for works that expand and develop the concert experience and the sphere around live music. VEGA LAB gives the audience access to new experiences and musicians access to the technology and the opportunity to experiment and explore new ways of composing.

 During the festival, the following can be experienced:

 Teo Ala-Ruonam, Lacuna

Finnish Teo Ala-Ruona’s performance Lacuna, which took place on the floor of Lille VEGA in February 2023, will be shown on the VR glasses in VEGA LAB. The work’s aggressive, abstract, but also symphonic and very self-giving nature is a moment of liberation – a distortion and transformation of body and voice and the connotations that govern them.

 Cult of Luna, Cold Burn

VEGA LAB, Cult of Luna and design company and music video creator North Kingdom invite audiences to step out onto The Long Road North. When you enter VEGA LAB, you also enter The Long Road North universe and with keyboard and mouse you can play your way through the universe to the track Cold Burn.

 Liturgys, Origin of The Alimonies

As artist in residence, LITURGY not only plays three different shows during this weekend. A screening of LITURGY’s film Origin of The Alimonies will be shown in VEGALAB

Food and drinks

In VEGA’s and Basement’s bars, there is a wide range of drinks with and without alcohol. In VEGA’s bars, there is also a small selection of snacks, as well as the option to buy earplugs. Unfortunately, there are no food stalls at the festival, but in VEGA’s immediate area there are a large number of restaurants and takeaway places in all price ranges, especially the area around Enghave Plads (approx. 50 meters away) offers a wide range of good places with both vegetarian and vegan options. A quick bite to eat between the concerts can possibly be managed at Pasha Kebab just opposite Lille VEGA.

How to get to VEGA

If you are not on a bicycle, you can take the metro to Enghave Plads and walk the last 50 metres. The nearest S-train station is Carlsberg Station, which is 5 minutes away on foot. You can take buses 1A and 23 to Enghave Plads. From Copenhagen Central Station, which is connected to the airport and Metro, you can walk along Istedgade directly to VEGA in 15 minutes, or take the metro one stop to Enghave Plads. Taxis are easy and safe in Copenhagen and you can easily stop them on the street.

Press and photo-accredited people check into Lille VEGA together with the rest of the audience. Please note that there may be instructions regarding various photo and video rules. If you wish to record video, VEGA’s video policy must be read and signed upon arrival.

Når du ankommer

Når du ankommer, skal du have din billet scannet ved Lille VEGA. Har du billet til hele festivalen, er det også her du får dit armbånd på. Har du endagsbillet vil du få et stempel. Armbånd og stempel giver dig adgang til Lille VEGA, Ideal Bar og Basement.

 Til højre for Lille VEGAs indgang, finder du indgangen til Ideal Bar. Til venstre for Lille VEGAs indgang, finder du indgangen til Basement, hvor der også er et udendørs område med bar.

Alle venues ligger så man kan komme frem og tilbage imellem dem på få minutter.

Der er obligatorisk garderobe i VEGA, så du vil blive bedt om at aflevere overtøj og tasker i garderoben. Du kan hente og aflevere dine ting løbende hvis du ønsker det. Garderobe koster 30 kr.  Garderoben lukker kl. 00.30 hver dag, så husk at hente dine ting inden du ser den sidste koncert i Basement, hvor der ikke er obligatorisk garderobe.

VEGA LAB er et eksperimenterende udstillingsrum for livescenen, derarbejder medimmersive oplevelser. Lokalets 360 graders opsætning både i lyd og billede gør, at publikumkan bevæge sig rundt i rummet og få en aktiv, selvvalgt oplevelse alt efter, hvor de bevægersig hen.Spillestedet VEGA undersøger med projektet VEGA LAB grænserne mellem tech-,lyd-og video-formater i jagten på værker, der udvider og udvikler koncertoplevelsen ogsfæren omkring live musikken.VEGA LAB giver publikum adgang til nye oplevelser og musikere adgang til teknologien ogmuligheden for at eksperimentere og afsøge nye måder at komponere på.

Finske Teo Ala-Ruonas performanceLacuna, der udspillede sig på gulvet i Lille VEGAi februar2023 vises på VR-brillen i VEGA LAB.Værkets aggressive, abstrakte, men også symfoniske ogmeget selvudleverende natur er et frigørelsens øjeblik–en forvrængning og transformationaf krop og stemme og de konnotationer, der styrer dem.

 Cult of Luna, Cold Burn

VEGA LAB,Cult of Lunaogdesignvirksomhed og musikvideokreatør North Kingdominvitererpublikum til at træde ud påThe Long Road North. Når du træder ind i VEGA LAB, træder duogså indThe Long Road North-universet og med keyboard og mus kan du spille dig igennemuniverset til nummeret Cold Burn.

Som artist in residence spiller LITURGY ikke kun tre forskellige shows i løbet af denneweekend. En visning af LITURGY’s filmOrigin of The Alimonies vil blive vist i VEGALAB

Mad og drikke
I VEGAs og Basements barer er der et bredt sortiment af drikkevarer med og uden alkohol. I VEGAs barer er der også et mindre udvalg af snacks, samt mulighed for at købe ørepropper. Der er desværre ingen madboder på festivalen, men i VEGAs nærområde er der en lang række restauranter og takeaway-steder i alle prisklasser, særligt området omkring Enghave Plads (ca. 50 meter væk) byder på en bred vifte af gode stedern med både vegetariske og veganske optioner. En hurtig bid mad mellem koncerterne kan eventuelt klares på Pasha Kebab lige overfor Lille VEGA. 

Sådan kommer du til VEGA
Hvis ikke du er på cykel, kan du tage metroen til Enghave Plads og gå de sidste 50 meter. Nærmeste S-togstation er Carlsberg Station, som ligger 5 minutter væk på gåben. Man kan tage busserne 1A og 23 til Enghave Plads. Fra Københavns Hovedbanegård, som har forbindelse til lufthavnen og Metro, kan man gå ad Istedgade direkte til VEGA på 15 min, eller tage metroen ét stop til Enghave Plads. Taxa er nemt og sikkert i København og man kan nemt stoppe dem på gaden.

Presse og foto-akkrediterede tjekker ind i Lille VEGA sammen med det øvrige publikum. Bemærk at der kan blive instrueret omkring diverse foto og videoregler. Ønskes det at optage video skal VEGAs videopolitik læses og underskrives ved ankomst.
