Syl (’awl’) does whatever pleases them. They don’t care about how others might want things music-wise. Their style of playing is mostly sensitive post punk combined with “moped thug-rock”, a poor translation of the Danish “knallertbøllerock”. On the album Alt godt (‘everything good’, 2022) they reflect on the fact that every good thing will end. The everyday voice makes it hard for the listener to uphold a distance to the problems. Try for yourself to see if you can ignore Syl when they sing!
